Buy recyclable things: Verify that the products you purchase, can be recycled, or at least that they're durable and can be used many times. Remember that the more times you use something, you produce less garbage. Find the recyclable logo on the packaging.
Lower consumption: It does not mean that you don't buy what you like. Before you buy something, think only a few seconds. Do you really need or it's just a caprice ? Maybe you already have one, and it would be sufficient to send it to repair. If you are going to replace some clothes or some electronic device, think about donating what you no longer use but still works, many people can not afford to buy a new one, and you produce less garbage.
Separate your garbage: It is not very difficult, you don't need to get your hands dirty with garbage, nobody likes that. Sorts garbage in plastic, glass, metal, paper and organic waste, and before discarding something, only look the material ist's done.
